Open Water 03:32
Well I’m lookin’, lookin’ for open water I’m lookin’ – lookin’ for open water The air is just too crowded It’s got no empty space Tryin’ to find some grace Well I’m lookin’, lookin’ for open water I’m lookin’ – lookin’ for open water My mind is getting clouded We’re coming undone I’m not the only one Gunna set my sail – heading for the Son Gunna set my sail – heading for the Son Too many people talking The world’s come to an end Just around the bend Sail – sail into the son Hmmmm…. sail – sail into the Son I’m lookin’ for open water

I Hold On 05:54
A simple but loving man Content with rod and reel in hand Working his labour Quick to help his neighbour But far beyond his control His life was taken on the road And ever since she was a kid Her life was carried on the wind Betrayed by her father Unworthy of another And far beyond her control Her life was taken on the road So much of what they were building Will burn up in the fire But they held on through the willin’ They held on to the words of life She was just a child of nine When she started to decline Taught to trade favours With no one to save her Now she can’t drown the memory Keeps coming back in her sleep So she learned to walk away And chose to play it safe Gain their acceptance Dare not take a chance But she can’t find her identity To find her place back in the stream Well I’ve got no rod and reel in hand Next to the lake where I stand I cast my bread on water Live my life as fodder To love all in my space To live my life as grace And I’ve worked hard my labour To help my neighbour But ever since I was a kid My life’s been carried on the wind Far beyond my control Life will be taken down the road

I’m not the man I want to be I’ve got no chance ‘til eternity 15-over but always short Easy to hurt but hard at war I hold her hand but make her cry Can’t even remember the reason why I build my bridges by diggin’ in I start to give up but That’s where I begin It’s like snow in summer Like snow in summer Been here many times before On my knees behind a closed door I start to speak but Don’t know what to pray I’m hoping to find A better way
4.
Well I tried to start a conversation But I ain’t ready for a fight Well I tried to start a conversation But I ain’t ready for a fight Goin’ polar is getting older With all this left and right Well I tried to find a small room Oh, to meet you on line Yeah, I tried to find a small room Oh, to meet you on line But people started joining in And jammin’ up my mind Well I’d like to get to know you The soul within the clay Well I’d like to get to know you The soul within the clay But this chatter’s just not workin’ Got to find another way Find another way!

You can sense it in the mornin’ As you turn the coffee on It comes without a warning When all you feel is numb\ And you’re lookin’ for the meaning In all you’ve done Hope rides on the horizon You can feel it when you’re drivin’ Just waiting at the light It’s just like you’re surviving When there’s no change in sight\ Going through the motions You gotta be the one Hope rides on the horizon Hope rides on the horizon You can see it at nightfall When you’re alone in the dark When there’s no one else to call To relieve your aching heart\ In humble submission Where the rest finally comes You’ll find that Hope rides on the horizon Hope rides on the horizon Hope rides on the horizon

Some have fallen and lay beneath the ground Some are hurtin’ as the battle rages on Face our demons – leave no one behind Sharing the burden as we form the double line We saddle up - head into the wind There’ll laughter off and on again There’s joy in living, We see it in the eyes This pain that we’re feeling only proves that we’re alive We ride to remember We ride to honour We ride to remember We ride….to celebrate life / we ride / Not every day is trial not every day is rain We’re sure to see that sun come round again The hill’s a challenge that breaks up the line But give us one more gear and we’ll make it there with time

Someone paid the piper We all sang along Someone paid the piper We all sang along We’ve forgotten why we’re singing We’re lost in the song I think I’ve lost some value Misled by silver’s wage I think I’ve lost some value Misled by silver’s wage 30-piece from yesterday It’s heavier but not worth the same Not worth the same Once I took the long road It’s been hard to turn around Once I took the long road It’s been hard to turn around Sun rises, sets again Da capa, al coda, al fine Someone paid the piper Someone paid the piper

Held my breath and count to ten But I could never know when Looked to the sky looked to the sea For a voice to comfort me Oh – Couldn’t do it all alone The road home was unknown To lift a hand or work a plan Couldn’t change who I am Oh – The rain falls to bring new life But it can feel like drowning Couldn’t speak as I began to climb To the top of the mountain Now grace – sweet grace Has me breathing again Oh the thunder can be violent But still lost in the silence] The storm’s disorienting The wind tormenting Oh –

Stupid 04:02
Feeling discouraged, passion’s drained Seems like the whole world’s going crazy Am I stupid, am I stupid Am I stupid or is this faith? He said she said it’s gunna end You say they say you never can pretend But I can’t sail this double mind Gotta choose one and leave one behind Hanging on words, promises made Holdin’ my sword, no need to be afraid Am I stupid, am I stupid Am I stupid or is this faith?

Two Left Feet (3:16) My baby likes to dance She’ll do it every chance She gets - You bet My foot starts tappin’ to the beat And I try to join but I got Two left feet Two-step and polka is all I got I bust out the moves and I a hot Mess - I guess Well it lights her up that’s real neat But I try to join and I got Two left feet She and the sisters are out on the floor It’s late at night but she’s going for more Can’t stop – gunna drop She’s waving her finger and calling me I try to join but I got Two left feet My baby likes to dance She’ll do it every chance She gets - You bet I like to help her every way I can So I’ll be here with the band!

Let it Rain 04:17
The sun is burning, searing the land, turning fertile soil into grains of sand – the fescue is unattended, brown and kindling dry, ready for the match to ignite flames that light the sky. Let it Rain – let it rain, send the shower to revive this land again, a flood of love will uncover, compassion for our brother. Seasons of drought have added to the plight, primed the cannon’s barrel, readied for a fight, but win, lose, or draw there is nothing to be gained, by burning up the fields, instead of harvesting the grain.
